Sakura: A long time family friend—who has been here for both poodles’ ‘first nights’ joined us tonight to welcome Mishka and she took the attached photos. I love the ones of Polly teaching Mishka KP (her favorite thing) and Mishka picked up on it really quickly!! He has been quite a hit today, and quite a handful. Very energetic and into everything. We had some good success keeping him off the coffee table while we ate hors d’oeuvres by putting him down over and over and saying No, but also reinforcing him with bitty treats when he stayed down. He got the idea.

11 weeks old. Most of the kids have gone to their homes by now, and it’s been kind of quiet. Mishka is flying to his new home as I write this. Will be waiting anxiously to hear from his family. Still here are Amber and Libby, who will be going to her home the end of this month.

Moonstar’s Can’t Beat the Feeling AKA Royal Blue boy. Sweet boy Cola went home with Changhao but he’s not far – up north to Seattle. This boy is still growing and developing.

Moonstar’s Howling at the Moon AKA Purple Girl. 10 weeks old and still a fire ball! She went home north to Surrey, BC with Stan and Dot, and I think she might be kind of spoiled … if the bling attached to her collar is any indication!

Moonstar’s More than just a Pretty Face AKA Yellow Girl or Amber. Still love this girl. She ended up third pick in the puppy evals – has the movement and timing. Easy to live with. Did not cooperate when we tried stacking on the table …

Moonstar’s by the Silvery Moon AKA Rainbow Girl. 10 weeks old and a funny girl - She “talks” demanding to be picked up … then cuddles and is content once she’s in your arms. She’s often fallen asleep in my arms, head snuggled under my chin. Novayakai (AKA Rainbow Girl) flew to her family yesterday – Chris and Lauren in Texas. Can’t wait to see photos!

Moonstar’s Dragon Dreamer AKA Pink Girl will be co-owned with Kristan Larson and her daughter Morgan. I have a feeling this “princess” will be (spoiled) loved dearly! Looking forward to having fun with Kristie and Morgan.

Moonstar’s Fly Me to the Moon – Amelia – co-owned with good good friend Pat Cummins (Sancha Samoyeds) from Vancouver Island. We will have fun watching this girl grow up and hope she reaches the potential we see in her now! At 10 weeks old Amelia was deemed one of the top pick girls – structure, movement, attitude – she has it all!
